Job summary

NVIDIA is hiring a Linux Systems Engineer to join the Infrastructure Engineering team. You will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade Linux environments across RPM-based distributions, optimizing for high-throughput EDA workloads.

You will drive automation, build robust tooling, and ensure a scalable, highly available infrastructure. Your base salary is location-based with ranges provided for Level 4 and Level 5, and equity/benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of deep systems engineering experience with RPM-based Linux distributions.
• Experience automating multi-tier infrastructure configurations with Infrastructure as Code.
• Virtualization and container internals (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, MicroVMs) and scalable container infra design.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, tune, and secure Linux operating systems across production and non-production environments.
• Lead infrastructure configuration management and CD workflows using IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Develop tooling in Python/Bash/Go to automate tasks and telemetry.
• Manage Linux naming services and networked storage to support high-performance workloads.
