Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to join the Infrastructure Engineering team. You will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade Linux environments across RPM-based distributions, optimized for high-throughput EDA workloads.

The role emphasizes automation, tooling development, and scalable infrastructure for mission-critical compute farms. You will work with Python, Bash, or Go to automate tasks, manage LDAP/SSSD and NFS storage, and contribute to a robust, scalable

Qualifications

• 8+ years in deep systems engineering with RPM-based Linux distributions.
• Automation of multi-tier infrastructure configurations and centralized deployments.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and tooling.
• Experience with container infrastructure design and image/layer optimization.
• Strong understanding of OSI, TCP, MTU, and SDN/networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, tune, and secure Linux operating systems across prod and non-prod environments.
• Lead infrastructure configuration management and CI/CD workflows.
• Develop tooling to automate operations and telemetry integration.
• Manage LDAP/SSSD and networked storage for high-performance workloads.
