Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a Linux Systems Engineer for its Infrastructure Engineering team in Texas. You will design, deploy, and maintain enterprise Linux environments across RPM-based distros, building automation and robust tooling for high-throughput EDA workloads.

You’ll work across Docker/Podman/Kubernetes and implement IaC with Ansible and Terraform, while ensuring scalable, secure infrastructure. A Bachelor's or equivalent is required, with 8+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of deep systems engineering experience on RPM-based Linux distributions.
• Experience automating multi-tier infrastructure configurations and deployments.
• Proficiency with Python, Bash, or Go for automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, tune, and secure mission-critical Linux systems across environments.
• Lead infrastructure automation and deployment workflows using IaC (Ansible, Terraform).
• Develop tooling in Python/Bash/Go to automate tasks and gather telemetry.
• Manage LDAP/SSSD and NFS/Autofs for high-performance workloads.
