Soho House in New York is seeking a Line Cook III to contribute to service, support a dedicated station, and ensure seamless preparation of food and sauces. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and positively influence the team with skilled cooking and calm focus during busy services.

The role requires learning all menu items, assisting with prep, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and following safety, sanitation and allergen procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, upscale environment.
• Proficient knife handling and professional cooking basics.
• Food handler’s certificate.
• Strong communicator and team player.
• Willing to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Proven ability to execute all menu items on assigned stations.

Responsibilities

• Learn all menu items and produce consistent, high-quality dishes on one or more stations.
• Daily prep support, kitchen maintenance, equipment and inventory when needed.
• Prepare items while adhering to allergy requests and dish alterations.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
• Set up station according to kitchen guidelines; maintain a safe, clean, organized area.
• Assist with production and execution of dishes, including weekend feeds.
• Support senior staff with pre- and post-service tasks and trainings.
