Job summary

Terranea Resorts is seeking a Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations in a hotel setting. You will prepare and plate menu items, maintain clean and organized workstations, and assist in banquet plating as needed.

Responsibilities include following recipes, coordinating with the Chef on Duty, and ensuring food safety and quality while minimizing waste. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience as a Line Cook at a quality style Hotel or Restaurant.
• Food handling certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of department policies and sanitation procedures.
• Prepare menu items following recipes and yield guide.
• Set up workstation with mise en place and supplies for service.
• Inform Chef on Duty of shortages or 86’d items during service.
• Assist in plating up Banquet hot meals as assigned.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by timely, accurate preparation and service.
