Job summary

Guidehouse’s Life Sciences practice supports pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and diagnostic companies in product planning, pricing, reimbursement, and regulatory solutions. This role leads project teams, manages client relationships, and ensures high-quality deliverables across multiple engagements with a clear career path.

You will mentor consultants, collaborate with senior leaders, and participate in sales and practice development while advancing through a defined career ladder.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related field; advanced degree/PhD preferred.
• Minimum 6+ years of prior relevant consulting or work experience with large global pharma/biotech clients.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch.
• Experience with market sizing, patient journey, forecasting, and portfolio strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from cultivation to completion as Associate Director.
• Lead the designated project team and support the day-to-day client relationship.
• Develop and manage work plans, staffing, deadlines and budgets across multiple projects.
• Ensure high-quality, client-ready work products and senior‑level communication.
• Coach staff consultants and provide career development feedback.
• Collaborate with Directors and Managing Directors; support sales initiatives and practice development.
