Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Associate Director in Life Sciences to lead projects and manage client relationships across pharma, biotech and medical device clients. You will drive multi-project oversight, staffing, budgets and progress reporting while mentoring staff consultants.

Travel is project-dependent, averaging up to 30%. A BA/BS in a relevant field is required with 6+ years of consulting or pharma experience; advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 6+ years of consulting or pharma/biotech experience with large global pharma or biotech clients.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch.
• Ability to analyze complex information and develop effective strategies.
• Experience advising brand leaders and portfolio strategy in pharma including launch prep.
• Experience with market sizing, segmentation, forecasting, and budget planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and manage day-to-day client relationships on designated projects.
• Develop and manage work plans, staffing, deadlines and budgets; ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Lead team meetings, coach staff consultants and provide career development feedback.
• Collaborate with Directors and Managing Directors; participate in sales initiatives.
• Travel to client sites; travel averages 30 percent depending on project needs.
