Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Associate Director in Life Sciences to lead project teams across pharma, biotech, and medical devices. You will manage work plans, staffing, deadlines and budgets, while guiding staff and maintaining client relationships.

You will leverage deep pharma knowledge to support portfolio strategy, commercialization, and launch preparation, with travel up to 30% as needed. Join a collaborative team focused on growth and impact.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of consulting or relevant experience with large pharma/biotech clients.
• Strong pharmaceutical industry knowledge including drug development and launch.
• Ability to analyze complex information and develop strategies.
• Experience advising senior leaders on portfolio & launch strategies.
• Experience with market sizing, segmentation, forecasting, and budget planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated project team and manage day-to-day client relationships.
• Develop and manage work plans, staffing, deadlines, and budgets across multiple projects.
• Coach staff consultants and provide constructive feedback for career development.
• Collaborate with Directors on progress and business development initiatives.
• Participate in sales initiatives and practice development.
