Job summary

WuXi AppTec Group is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive sales growth in the assigned region, working closely with WuXi Biology leadership. The role focuses on penetrating key customers and closing growth opportunities with strategic partners.

Face-to-face meetings are the preferred interaction method to achieve sales and profit goals. The position is remote preferably on the East Coast, with travel as required to meet clients and attend conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences with 3+ years of industrial experience.
• Experience in CRO is a plus.
• Frequent travel required (car, train, plane).
• Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and passport.
• Strong networking and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify key decision makers for WuXi Biology opportunities.
• Daily prospecting to generate new leads.
• Close growth opportunities and implement deals with management.
• Maintain excellent relationships with internal partners at WuXi Biology.
• Travel to meet clients and attend conferences as needed.
