Job summary

WuXi AppTec on the East Coast (Boston preferred) seeks a senior sales professional to drive growth across Toxicology and DMPK offerings in the Laboratory Testing Division. You will close IND/NDA deals, nurture relationships with Pharma & Biotech stakeholders, and coordinate with marketing for launches.

The role requires 5–10 years of key account experience, a life sciences background, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

Minimum 5–10 years of experience acquiring and developing key accounts in CRO/Pharma/Biotech.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Science; MBA/MS/PhD in Life Science a plus.
Willing to travel up to 50%, including international.
Strong communication, writing and presentation skills.
Ability to work with international teams and at high levels of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Source, close and support IND and NDA services deals with existing and new clients in the Pharma & Biotech market.
Identify regional pockets with the highest growth potential and execute accordingly.
Execute local marketing and product launch programs in conjunction with the corporate product management and marketing team.
Create new opportunities and develop new relationships to expand and grow the customer base.
Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce.
Travel up to 50% (air/train/car) as required and work overtime/weekends when necessary.
