WuXi Biologics is seeking an Associate Director, Business Development for the West Coast. This remote role focuses on CDMO business development, managing existing client relationships, and expanding our biotech client base in Northern California.

You will work with senior BD leadership and operations to shape regional strategies, stay informed on competitors, and drive sales targets while delivering exemplary customer service and maintaining Salesforce updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or PhD preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of life science industry experience, with 2 years in sales/territory management in CMO/CRO space.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to develop and implement sales strategies; detail-oriented and organized.
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve regional sales targets.
• Grow the business in the Northern California biotech sector by acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and operations to develop regional strategies.
• Represent WuXi Biologics at industry events and trade shows.
• Maintain regional Salesforce.com data and monitor KPIs.
