Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Matthews, NC is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in planning and coordinating daily life enrichment activities for active residents. You will help design engaging programs that promote physical, mental, and social well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors, leading life enrichment activities.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; maintain composure in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in group settings.
• Lead activities, exercise, outings, and events.
• Coordinate the monthly newsletter.
• Support resident safety during outings.
• Assist the Resident Lifestyle Director as needed.
• Decorate for events and holidays.
