Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Licensing Compliance professional in Illinois to manage US retail and specialty brokerage licensing, including P&C, Personal Lines, Life & Health, TPA and reinsurance. The role supports licensing onboarding for mergers and acquisitions, coordinates with vendors, and oversees entity licensing programs.

You will ensure filings are accurate and timely, collaborate with legal/compliance, and provide guidance to production teams on licensing requirements and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; 5 years of related experience.
• Maintain or obtain P&C insurance licenses within 3 months of hire.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft products, Adobe Connect, Webex, and ability to learn additional software programs.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admitted and non-admitted licensing for US retail and specialty brokerage.
• Coordinate with license vendors and the National Licensing Center (NLC).
• Manage license applications, renewals, and appointments across 50 states.
• Facilitate licensing onboarding during M&A activity and implementation of licensing.
• Provide licensing knowledge to production teams and other stakeholders.
• Ensure filings are accurate, timely and compliant with state requirements.
