Job summary

Mattel seeks a Senior Licensing Leader in El Segundo to drive strategy and partnerships across apparel, accessories, and footwear. You will identify opportunities, pitch programs, and oversee end-to-end execution with cross-functional teams to expand our brand reach and revenue.

The role requires a track record in licensing and leadership, with strong negotiation skills, market analysis, and a passion for storytelling through brands. In-office presence is required consistent with Mattel policy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years licensing/franchise management experience.
• Strong expertise across apparel, accessories, footwear, and licensing.
• Proven ability to negotiate licensing agreements with contracts, royalties, IP rights.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensing strategy and business development across Apparel, Accessories, Footwear, and strategic collaborations.
• Identify, pitch, secure, and execute licensing programs across Fashion and adjacent categories.
• Build and manage high-impact licensing partnerships from prospecting through execution.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team and foster a growth-oriented culture.
• Develop multi-year growth strategies to achieve revenue objectives across brands.
