Job summary

Creative Risk Solutions, a Holmes Murphy line of business, seeks a Sr. Liability Claims Specialist, Supervisor to lead a high-performing group of adjusters and ensure exceptional claims handling from start to finish.

The role focuses on adjudication, negotiation, and litigation support, while mentoring staff and maintaining strong client relationships within a growing TPA environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred. Technical designations encouraged such as AIC and CPCU.
• Licensing: Active state Life & Health/Property Casualty license or ability to acquire within three months.
• Experience: 8-10 years of adjusting property and casualty claims, including litigated claims; supervisory experience preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of liability coverages, independent work, teamwork, math, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate claims, investigate, negotiate settlements, and maintain documentation.
• Monitor claims in litigation and ensure timely responses per best practices.
• Research inquiries from insureds, claimants, agencies, and carriers; meet with clients on complex issues.
• Maintain open communication with customers and fronting carriers; support litigation management.
• Coach team members, manage timesheets and training; participate in compensation decisions.
• Set up regular file reviews; participate in quarterly team meetings and annual goal reviews.
