Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 12+ years in Marketing, Bank Operations, Credit Analysis, and/or relevant product line(s) or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong financial analysis skills; cash flow and profitability focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with product pricing, cost structures, risk management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for lending products in existing and new market segments and present plans to senior management.
• Responsible for product pricing guidance, cost structure improvements, and profitability management of products/services.
• Maintain awareness of competitive developments and evaluate new services, products or geographies; adjust strategy as needed.
• Lead new product implementation and existing product modifications; coordinate with other departments for support.
• Collaborate with Bank departments to develop programs to sell products and services.
• Ensure products are marketable, profitable, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations; minimize risk.
• Maintain awareness of marketing trends and align with company offerings.
• Adhere to compliance and risk controls per standards and policies.
• Promote the M&T Bank brand and an inclusive workplace culture.
• Maintain internal controls and address audit findings with regulators as applicable.
• Complete other related duties; manage staffing, performance, and promotions.
