Job summary

R.L. Barclay & Associates seeks an experienced Legal Word Processor for a reputable Dallas law firm. The role requires advanced Word skills, familiarity with NetDocuments, and the ability to manage multiple high-volume documents with accuracy.

You will convert and format PDFs, prepare pleadings, and support attorneys with PowerPoint, Excel, and editing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Legal document proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced MS Word skills including automation, tracking changes, and styles.
• Proficient with NetDocuments or similar document management system.
• Experience with graphics apps like Adobe Photoshop and Visio is a plus.
• Experience with DocXtools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert PDFs to Word and Word to PDFs using firm tools.
• Format and revise Word documents with cross-references and TOCs.
• Prepare and edit documents from handwritten copies via track changes.
• Create labels and letters with mail-merge.
• Set up state pleading templates for discovery responses.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations using firm templates.
• Create and revise diagrams, tables and org charts.
• Format and revise Excel spreadsheets and PDFs.
• Compile and hyperlink PDFs for internal/external use.
• Prepare bookmarked e-binders and Adobe forms.
