Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a Senior Document Production Associate in Wheeling, WV. You will provide word processing and document production services for clients, handling requests from intake through delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in legal/banking or large corporate settings, advanced MS Office skills, and the ability to manage confidential information while meeting tight deadlines. You will work a Wednesday–Friday 2:30pm–1:00am ET schedule, with weekend shifts as listed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 3 years' experience, preferably in legal, banking or large corporate environments.
• Document production and word processing experience preferred.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and strong typing.
• Adept with other document editing software and systems.
• Knowledge of a legal timekeeping or job-tracking system preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail; excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential documents; independent decision-making.
• Proactive problem-solving; escalate issues when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform document production work per policies and procedures.
• Assess requests, identify processes, ensure completion through lifecycle.
• Edit, proofread, convert, create, transcribe documents to client specs.
• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced use of relevant software/hardware.
• Coordinate document production services, intake, and workflow within team.
• Troubleshoot more complex software or hardware problems.
• Use logs/tracking software for assigned work; meet deadlines.
• Communicate with peers, supervisor, or client on deadlines.
• Foster proactive service improvement and client relationships.
• Handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
• Perform Quality Assurance on others' work; train junior staff.
• Assist peer teams with proofreading, design or other tasks.
• Complete other tasks as assigned; interact with clients in person/phone/email.
• Adhere to company and client site policies; use equipment cost-efficiently.
