Job summary

Zoom’s General Ledger team seeks a Senior Accountant to own the full accounting lifecycle for Internal Use Software and Cloud Computing Arrangements, partnering with Engineering, FP&A, IT, and Finance. This remote-first, hybrid role focuses on ASC 350-40, SOX controls, and close processes while exploring AI-driven automation and ERP improvements.

Candidate should have a CPA, 5+ years of accounting experience (public company preferred), ERP proficiency (Oracle/SAP), and strong data analytics.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years progressive accounting, including public company experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge with close process experience.
• Experience with AI-powered tools and automation in accounting.
• CPA license or active candidacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting lifecycle for Internal Use Software and Cloud Computing Arrangements.
• Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Maintain balance sheet accounts and reconcile items.
• Perform monthly/quarterly variance analyses with FP&A.
• Support financial reporting packages and SOX controls.
