Voya Financial is seeking a Claims Consultant for the Leave Management (VLM) department. You will serve as a technical expert for complex claims, specializing in STD, FMLA, and other paid/unpaid leave policies, and act as a liaison for legal matters.

You will mentor staff, analyze claim data for trends, maintain SLAs, and drive process improvements while communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in claim management (STD, FMLA, PPL, PFL).
• 2 years of experience with client escalation – resolution strategies.
• Strong data analysis and actionable insights from client needs.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication.

Responsabilités

• Represent the company in depositions and arbitrations.
• Mentor and guide claim staff for consistent handling.
• Manage complex and non-complex disability and leave claims.
• Analyze claim data to identify trends and insights.
• Maintain SLAs and support process improvements.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders by phone and email.
