Zusammenfassung

Driven Brands is seeking a Leave Specialist to administer and manage complex leave programs across the US and Canada, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate recordkeeping. You will guide managers and employees on FMLA/ADA interactions, coordinate certifications, and maintain confidential records throughout the leave lifecycle.

You will collaborate with HR partners, payroll, and legal teams, handling ADA/ACA accommodations and return‑to‑work processes.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive knowledge of leave requirements under FMLA, ADA, Canada Labour Code, ACA and related laws.
• 5+ years of HR experience managing centralized leaves and accommodations.
• Certification or training in FMLA/leave administration is a plus.
• Experience using a digital workflow case management system for Leaves and Accommodations (ServiceNow preferred).
• Experience in a geographically dispersed org with 5k+ employees.
• Experience with HRIS leave tracking (Workday preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Administers and manages leave of absence programs across the US and Canada in compliance with laws.
• Communicates with employees about leave needs and required documentation.
• Manages the full leave process from notice through return to work, including certifications.
• Advises managers on interaction of leave with PTO, workers' comp and disability benefits.
• Oversees return‑to‑work processes after extended leave or disability.
• Facilitates ADA/ACA accommodation requests through interactive process.
• Updates and drafts leave policy revisions to ensure legal compliance.
• Maintains confidential medical records and fulfills documentation requirements.
• Collaborates with HR, payroll, and legal teams to deliver accurate support.
