Aeroflow Health is seeking a Leave Specialist to support a remote, enterprise-wide HR program serving 1,000+ coworkers across 30+ states. You will determine eligibility, manage FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and related leaves, and act as the primary contact for employees and managers.

This role emphasizes compliance, accurate documentation in HRIS, collaboration with payroll, benefits, and HR leadership, and staying current on leave laws. A strong analytical mindset and superb communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; SHRM-SCP/PHR preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience administering leave programs including FMLA/ADA.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state leave laws (FMLA, ADA, CFRA, PFL).

Responsabilités

• Make eligibility determinations and leave approvals/denials under FMLA, ADA, PWFA and state programs.
• Assess complex leave scenarios and ensure compliance across multiple laws.
• Administer FMLA, ADA, PWFA, personal, parental, military, and state-specific leaves.
• Serve as primary contact for leave policies for employees and managers.
• Process leave requests, track usage, and maintain documentation in HRIS.
• Coordinate with payroll/benefits to ensure benefit continuation during leave.
• Stay current on leave laws and recommend policy updates.
• Prepare reporting on leave trends and utilization.
