Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a Leave Management Specialist to administer leaves of absence, accommodations, and workers’ compensation. You’ll partner with internal teams, leave administrators, and HR to ensure timely communication, accurate documentation, and compliance with FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, PWFA and related rules.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 4–6 years in HR, leave administration, or worker's compensation.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, PWFA and related protections.
• Experience coordinating workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine and complex employee leaves through return-to-work or case closure.
• Liaise with leave administrator and monitor case activity.
• Advise employees and leaders on leave eligibility and documentation requirements.
• Lead interactive process for accommodation requests and document outcomes.
• Own workers' compensation claims from report to closure.
• Coordinate return-to-work and fitness-for-duty processes.
