Driven Brands, a leading North American automotive services company, seeks a Leave Specialist to administer leave programs across the United States and Canada, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, and related laws. The role covers communication with employees, documentation management, and coordination with managers to support smooth leave processes.

The position requires 5+ years in centralized leaves, strong policy knowledge, and experience with HRIS systems.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of HR experience managing centralized leaves and accommodations.
• Certification or training on FMLA/leave administration is a plus.
• Experience with a digital workflow case management system for Leaves/Accommodations.
• Experience using ServiceNow Leave Management preferred.
• Experience in a geographically dispersed organization with 5k+ employees.
• Experience with HRIS leave/absence tracking (Workday preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Communicates with employees regarding leave needs and modified schedules.
• Ensures employees understand documentation and notice requirements for leave.
• Manages leave from initial notice to return-to-work, including paperwork and certifications.
• Maintains communication with employees and managers during leave for smooth return.
• Advises on interaction of leave with PTO, workers comp, and disability benefits.
• Oversees return-to-work process after extended leaves.
• Facilitates ADA/ACA accommodations through interactive process.
• Drafts/revises leave policies to stay compliant with laws.
• Maintains records of leave and accommodation requests with required confidentiality.
• Collaborates with HR partners, payroll, legal to deliver timely support.
