Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Senior Leave Specialist to oversee the administration of FMLA, CFRA, state leaves, and related disability programs. You will act as the subject-matter expert for leave administration, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a high-quality employee experience across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Payroll, HR Operations, Benefits, and third-party administrators, monitor vendor performance, and drive process improvements to support compliance and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
• 5-7 years of experience in leave administration.
• Experience with multi-state leave programs (FMLA, CFRA, state/local leaves).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex leave and disability cases.
• Provide guidance to employees and HR staff on leave policies and requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee vendor performance and service levels.
• Produce reports and analyze information related to leave administration.
• Coordinate return-to-work activities and payroll adjustments for leave cases.
