Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a seasoned Leave Administration & Case Management professional in Illinois to oversee FMLA, ADA, PWFA, USERRA, and disability-related leaves for a multi-state workforce.

You will manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance, drive process improvements, and serve as the trusted advisor to employees and managers on leave, accommodation, and return-to-work matters. Knowledge of DOT regulations for drivers is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience administering leave, disability, and accommodations.
• Experience with ADA, FMLA, PWFA, USERRA, and multi-state leaves.
• Experience managing vendors and multi-state workforce.
• Strong knowledge of return-to-work, fitness-for-duty, and DOT requirements.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of leave programs including FMLA, ADA, PWFA, USERRA, and state local leaves.
• Facilitate intake, notices, forms, and vendor communications from initiation to return-to-work.
• Manage complex leave cases and ensure consistent policy application across populations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for employees, managers, HR, payroll, safety, legal, and vendors.
• Coordinate return-to-work and fitness-for-duty with DOT considerations for drivers.
• Lead ADA/workplace accommodation processes and maintain documentation.
• Manage vendor relationships, audits, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws and company policies.
