Job summary
Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a Leave & Disability Specialist in Fort Wayne, IN to guide leave management, ADA accommodations, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with HR, occupational health, legal, payroll, and administrators to resolve complex cases and standardize processes across divisions.
The role requires 5+ years in FMLA/ADA/PWFA leave programs, strong regulatory knowledge, and experience with HRIS (UKG) and case management tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is required.
- 5+ years in administering, supporting, or consulting on leave programs (FMLA/ADA/PWFA).
- Strong knowledge of federal/state leave laws and employment regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor changes in leave laws and update policies and documentation.
- Translate legal requirements into clear guidance and train staff.
- Review complex matters and coordinate with Benefits, HR, and Legal.
- Track leave balances, compliance metrics, and regulatory filings.
- Prepare reports for regulatory agencies and maintain documentation.
- Provide guidance on interactive accommodations and compliance.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve complex issues.
