Job summary

LCS is seeking a Leave Administrator to manage leave of absence programs for corporate and community employees. You will advise employees and managers, track leaves in HRIS, and ensure compliance with FMLA/ADA and related laws.

The role requires collaboration across teams, strong confidentiality, and the ability to coordinate accommodations and returns to work. This is a full-time, on-site position in Des Moines, IA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–4 years of leave administration experience and supporting leave programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for managers and employees on leave and accommodations under guidance.
• Coordinate leave processes, verify eligibility, determine approvals, and monitor duration.
• Manage communications with employees, managers, and HR during leave.
• Record absences in HRIS/timekeeping and coordinate return-to-work.
• Maintain knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and related laws.
