Job summary

Danaher is seeking a Senior Leave of Absence & Accommodations Specialist to lead the full lifecycle of FMLA and ADA cases, including complex, high‑risk, and legally sensitive situations. This fully remote role works with HR, LER COE, and Legal teams to ensure compliant outcomes across the enterprise.

You will own end-to-end accommodation processes, review documentation, and propose timely determinations while developing practical solutions that balance employee needs with business impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in leave of absence administration, accommodations, or HR generalist work with a strong leave/ADA focus.
• In-depth knowledge of FMLA, ADA, PWFA, state/local leave laws, and disability programs.
• Experience engaging in the accommodations interactive process with a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full life cycle of Leave of Absence cases under FMLA, state laws, and company leaves.
• Own the end-to-end administration of workplace accommodations under ADA, PWFA and related laws.
• Lead interactive accommodations process with associates, leaders, clinicians, and HR stakeholders.
• Develop creative accommodation solutions balancing restrictions with business impact.
• Influence decisions by translating policy and legal requirements into plain-English guidance.
