Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking a Senior Learning Experience Designer to lead the design of live, virtual, and blended leadership development experiences for managers and senior leaders.

You will translate objectives and input into cohesive, pilot-ready experiences, redesign onboarding to build business context and judgment, and evolve in-person programs into effective virtual formats with realistic practice and peer learning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in learning experience design, leadership development, or closely related field.
• Designing facilitated, instructor-led learning for in-person and synchronous virtual environments.
• Strong command of adult learning, experiential learning, human-centered design, and behavior-change principles.
• Ability to translate complex leadership concepts into simple, engaging experiences.
• Excellent visual communication skills and ability to create polished decks and participant materials.
• Experience creating facilitator guides for others to deliver the experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of live, virtual, and blended learning experiences for managers and senior leaders from concept to pilot-ready delivery.
• Translate objectives, learner needs, research, and input into clear learning outcomes and designs.
• Redesign onboarding to strengthen business context, culture, relationships, and judgment for new leaders.
• Evolve in-person experiences into effective virtual formats preserving practice, peer learning, reflection, and judgment-building.
• Design realistic scenarios, simulations, exercises, discussions, and reflection moments for leadership scenarios.
• Determine structure, sequence, timing, facilitation approach, and content delivery for each experience.
• Create polished learning assets including facilitator guides, decks, participant materials, worksheets, and resources.
• Apply strong visual and information design to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Prototype and test concepts quickly using feedback and pilot learnings.
• Collaborate with strategists, product leads, SMEs, and other designers while driving the learning-design work.
• Design with a global audience in mind and scalable assets across regions.
• Provide recommendations beyond the brief when research suggests a stronger approach.
