Job summary

Illumina is seeking a Senior Learning Experience Designer to design, develop, and improve learning experiences that build leadership capability and employee performance. You will translate priorities into engaging content and resources for leaders, managers, and staff.

You'll develop and curate content across instructor-led, digital, self-directed, and tech-enabled formats, collaborating with Talent Management, HR, SMEs, and external vendors to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing blended learning experiences (ILT, digital, self-directed).
• Experience supporting leadership, manager, and employee development programs.
• Ability to translate business needs into engaging content and practical resources.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and behavior-change practices.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs, stakeholders, and external providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve learning experiences for leadership and employees.
• Create blended learning components aligned to objectives and audience needs.
• Produce facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and microlearning.
• Collaborate with Talent Management and external partners to deliver solutions.
• Curate internal and external content using learning technologies and AI tools.
• Incorporate practice, coaching, and reinforcement into programs.
• Develop materials to drive adoption of new processes and tech.
