Job summary

Seattle Parks and Recreation is seeking a Sr. Training & Education Coordinator to design, coordinate, and deliver department-wide training programs.

You will lead needs assessments, develop supervisor curricula, and manage learning initiatives to advance equity and social justice within the workforce. In this role, you will administer the Cornerstone LMS, track outcomes, analyze data, and provide coaching to managers and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires three (3) years professional experience in adult training/education administration, training project management, and/or educational consulting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Science, Business or Public Administration, or a related field.
• Other combinations of education, training and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis for comparability, subject to qualifications audit by SHR.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of training across the department.
• Conduct needs assessments and data analysis to determine organizational training priorities.
• Develop and manage supervisor training curriculum, guides, and materials.
• Administer Cornerstone LMS including creation of courses, sessions, rosters, reporting, and data tracking.
• Oversee department-wide professional development programs.
