Job summary

Evergreen Treatment Services in Seattle seeks a Sr. Training Coordinator to lead onboarding and ongoing staff training for REACH’s Community Justice domain.

You will design curricula, coordinate annual trainings, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to advance harm-reduction, trauma-informed care, and equity-centered practice. The role requires a strong background in adult education, leadership development, and budget management; travel locally is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of training, organizational development, or adult education experience.
• Expertise in adult learning theory, curriculum design, and large-group facilitation.
• Strong equity, diversity, and inclusion principles with an equity lens.
• Experience developing budgets.
• Bachelor’s degree in adult education, organizational development, human resources, social work, or related field.
• Experience leading leadership programs or Train-the-Trainer models preferred.
• Experience evaluating training using metrics and data preferred.
• Experience in homelessness services, behavioral health, or harm-reduction settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onboarding and ongoing training for staff in REACH’s Community Justice domain.
• Develop structured training modules with input from subject matter experts.
• Schedule and track annual trainings and maintain a master training calendar.
• Serve as liaison for annual HR trainings.
• Design and improve staff training programs (New Employee Orientation, Skills Workshops, etc.).
• Manage logistics for large and small group trainings.
• Analyze unmet training needs and formulate comprehensive training plans.
• Develop leadership programs and explore distance learning opportunities.
• Provide consulting to REACH departments on training requests and coordination.
• Develop metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and report on outcomes.
• Manage Training Budget including cost-benefit analyses and vendor contracts.
• Coordinate with external partners to arrange REACH Community Justice trainings.
• Maintain positive relationships with staff and partners; participate in required meetings.
