Job summary

Solera Senior Living is seeking a Program Manager, Learning & Development to own the execution of our learning agenda. You will turn strategy from People and Operations into programs, content, and experiences reaching team members across communities and functions, including state-required training for surveys.

You will manage the learning calendar, LMS, vendor relationships, and training logistics, while also hands-on in content design and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Instructional Design, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in learning and development or related role.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build learning content, not just coordinate it.
• Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple programs and deadlines at once.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with all levels of the organization.
• Curiosity about learning technology and a track record of testing and adopting new tools (e.g., AI content creation).
• LMS administration and compliance training tracking in a regulated environment preferred.
• Senior living, healthcare, or multi-site operations experience a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 35% to communities for training delivery and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Manage the annual learning calendar: scheduling, coordinating, and communicating training programs across the enterprise.
• Coordinate facilitation and delivery of learning programs, including sourcing and managing external training partners.
• Own the LMS: enrollment, content uploads, completion tracking, and reporting, including state-required and annual in-service training with audit-ready records for state surveys.
• Administer the mentor program for new community leaders: matching participants, coordinating touchpoints, tracking engagement, and using feedback to strengthen the program.
• Deliver a smooth, consistent onboarding experience for corporate team members, managing learning milestones and 90-day touchpoints in coordination with HR Operations.
• Coordinate new hire learning across communities in line with enterprise onboarding standards, partnering with HR Business Partners and community leaders for a consistent, timely experience.
• Design and develop learning content, including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, and digital learning experiences, in partnership with SMEs and People and Operations leaders.
• Design for frontline workforce: mobile-first, short-format, and available in Spanish and other languages as needed, so learning fits around shift schedules.
• Use AI tools to create and iterate on content efficiently: drafting scripts, building assessments, generating scenario-based learning, and adapting materials for different audiences and formats.
• Evaluate emerging learning platforms and tools, and recommend where new technology can improve learning effectiveness or reduce production time.
• Experiment with new delivery methods such as microlearning, video, simulation, and peer learning, and assess their fit for our team members and operating environment.
• Track and report on learning metrics, including compliance completion, time to competency, 90-day retention of onboarded team members, program effectiveness, and participation trends by community and function.
• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for training questions and requests.
