Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is expanding its Learning & Development team in a hybrid role. You will partner with leaders to design, deliver, and optimize development programs that enhance capabilities and drive behavior change across the organization.

The Senior L&D Consultant will facilitate both in-person and virtual sessions, assess needs, and coach leaders to ensure sustained skill adoption, onboarding, and leadership development across a national footprint.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in learning and development, training delivery, facilitation, stakeholder consultation, learning needs assessment, and learning content development.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience facilitating complex learning programs, consulting with business leaders, and coaching skill application.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led and virtual learning experiences, onboarding and leadership programs.
• Consult with leaders to assess needs and recommend development solutions.
• Design and enhance learning materials, tools, and resources that support performance and ongoing skill application.
• Coach learners, managers, and leaders to strengthen adoption of new skills and support long-term growth.
• Lead end-to-end program execution, from planning and preparation through delivery and post-program follow-up.
• Analyze feedback, learning metrics, and business outcomes to continuously improve programs and maximize impact.
• Build strong relationships across the organization while serving as a trusted advisor on learning and development strategies.
