Job summary

CF&I Recycling is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Analyst in Colorado Springs to lead operational excellence initiatives and sustain ICIS deployments. You will coach teams, analyze data, and implement Lean practices across functions to boost safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires collaboration with operations, engineering, and HR, with travel up to 25% and a focus on cultural transformation and employee engagement in CI methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant industrial/manufacturing experience in operations, engineering, quality, operational excellence, data analytics, or continuous improvement.
• Experience analyzing operational data and using data to identify problems and actions.

Responsibilities

• Leads cross-functional ideation, problem solving, and continuous improvement sessions.
• Identifies and executes ICIS and CI initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, throughput, cost, and performance.
• Analyzes operational data and KPIs to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Tracks improvement initiatives, milestones, progress, sustainability, and financial impact.
• Facilitates Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, A3, 5S, root cause analysis) and coaching.
• Collaborates with frontline employees and leaders to develop solutions and improve processes.
• Trains and mentors employees in ICIS principles, Lean methods, and CI practices.
• Supports deployment phases of ICIS and sustains improvements.
• Engages with multiple functions to ensure successful execution and result validation.
