Job summary

InterPro Pipe + Steel is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Analyst to develop, implement, and sustain the operational excellence strategy within an ICIS deployed business unit. You will lead cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost while strengthening employee engagement in Lean practices.

The role requires strong facilitation and communication skills to engage diverse groups through change, and a track record of coaching employees at all levels in ICIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant industrial or manufacturing experience in operations, engineering, quality assurance, operational excellence, data analytics, or continuous improvement.
• Experience analyzing operational data and using data to identify problems, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional teams, improvement activities, or structured problem-solving sessions.
• Proven ability to collaborate with frontline employees and leadership in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads cross-functional ideation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement sessions to identify and implement operational improvement opportunities.
• Identifies, prioritizes, and executes ICIS and continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, throughput, cost, and overall performance.
• Analyzes operational data and monitors KPIs to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Tracks improvement initiatives, milestones, implementation progress, sustainability, and financial impact.
• Leads Lean and structured problem-solving activities, including Value Stream Mapping, A3, 5S, root cause analysis, and other CI methodologies.
• Partners with frontline employees and leaders to identify barriers, develop solutions, and improve work processes.
• Trains, coaches, and mentors employees in ICIS principles and lean methodologies.
• Identifies change champions and builds employee engagement for a sustainable CI culture.
• Supports all phases of ICIS deployment including preparation, implementation, stabilization, and sustainment.
• Collaborates with Operations, HR, Finance, IT, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance to support execution and validate results.
• Communicates initiative progress, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders with clear actions, timelines, and measures of success.
• Travels up to 25% and performs other duties as assigned.
