Job summary

Green Thumb in the United States seeks a Senior Manager, Leaves & Accommodations to lead the COE and serve as the SME on leave management, accommodations, and applicable laws. This largely remote role is preferred for Chicagoland candidates.

You will oversee FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and disability programs, build a strong team, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with Benefits, Payroll, HR, Legal, and Risk to deliver consistent processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in leave and accommodations.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Experience leading a center of excellence in leave and accommodations.
• Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws.
• Proficiency with HRIS and benefits systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic framework for centralized leave and accommodation programs.
• Develop and coach a high-performing team of practitioners.
• Set performance expectations and goals for the COE.
• Identify process improvements and drive enhancements.
• Advise senior leaders on complex employee matters and compliance.
• Collaborate with Benefits, Payroll, HR, Legal, and Risk teams.
• Oversee vendor relationships and system improvements.
