Job summary

Cigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, is seeking a strategic leader to manage a team of Strategic Client Managers and Senior Client Managers responsible for the Large Group portfolio within GHB in the Americas. You will drive renewal strategies, executive relationships and cross-functional collaboration to deliver client value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in account management or benefit consulting with large, complex employer client relationships.
• 5+ years of employee benefit experience.
• Prior management/supervisory experience with coaching of client management professionals.
• Strong understanding of global health benefits landscape and multinational clients preferred.
• Exceptional relationship and account management skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders; strong negotiation and renewal capabilities.
• Ability to partner with internal and external resources to achieve business objectives.
• Demonstrated consultative client management methodologies and matrix-organization collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages a team of Strategic Client Managers and Senior Client Managers for GHB’s largest clients.
• Drives portfolio management and renewal execution across an experience-rated Large Group portfolio.
• Leads hiring, coaching and development of client management professionals.
• Maintains executive relationships with senior clients and brokers for strategic reviews and renewal negotiations.
• Collaborates with Sales, Underwriting, Finance and other functions to address complex multinational needs and improve client experience.
• Translates goals into team objectives and operating rhythms with disciplined multi-year planning.
• Supports senior escalations and ensures timely resolution and effective service recovery.
• Leads business planning and renewal/retention strategies for the Large Group segment.
