Job summary

Cigna Healthcare is seeking a Strategic Client Manager to own the operational performance, strategy, and execution for National Account clients. The role focuses on developing and executing broad service strategies to support large global benefit programs, wellness initiatives, and employee relations.

You will renew accounts, sell new business to existing clients, and act as a trusted consultant to senior decision makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of client support/client management experience.
• State required Life, Accident and Health Licensure.
• Extensive experience in account management, account service, or related client interaction.
• Strong Emotional Intelligence (EQ) abilities including empathy, listening, and adaptability.
• Ability to travel for client and organizational meetings.

Responsibilities

• Renew accounts and sell new business to existing clients.
• Serve as a consultant to key decision makers to optimize the client program.
• Manage the relationship with the client and coordinate with brokers/consultants.
• Renewals management for existing block of business.
• Educate clients about Cigna Global updates and compliance changes.
• Handle escalated issues related to eligibility, premium/invoicing, or service.
• Manage sales information in Salesforce.
