Job summary

Cigna Healthcare seeks a senior leadership role to direct Strategic Client Managers and Senior Client Managers for its Global Health Benefits Large Group portfolio. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in account management or benefit consulting with large clients.
• 5+ years employee benefit experience and management/supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of global health benefits and multinational clients.
• Exceptional relationship and account management skills; strong negotiation and renewal abilities.
• Ability to partner with internal/external resources to meet objectives.
• Consultative client management methodologies and matrix organization experience.
• Comfort with fast-paced environments, resilience, and travel as needed.
• Strong financial acumen to interpret claims, trends and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages a team of Strategic Client Managers and Senior Client Managers for GHB’s largest clients.
• Drives portfolio management and renewal execution across an experience-rated Large Group portfolio.
• Partner with Underwriting, Finance and Sales on claims, trends and renewal pricing to balance client needs and profitability.
• Hire, coach and develop team members; set expectations and leadership development.
• Maintain executive relationships with senior client and broker stakeholders; lead complex renewal negotiations.
• Foster internal matrix partnerships to deliver complex multinational benefit solutions and superior client experience.
• Translate business priorities into team objectives and multi-year account plans.
• Lead escalations and ensure timely resolution and service recovery; address root causes of issues.
• Support business planning and growth strategies for the Large Group segment; provide strategic ownership as needed.
• Represent Large Group needs across Cigna Enterprise and partner regions globally.
