Job summary

GLOVIS America Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, East Freight Forwarding Accounting Head of Team to lead the FF Accounting function, establish governance, and oversee financial reporting for Freight Forwarding operations. You will drive strategic financial decisions, manage risk, and mentor the accounting team across locations.

The role requires strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS, SOX, and ERP systems, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Financial Accounting and Reporting
• 8–12 years of experience in Financial Accounting and Reporting
• CPA/CMA/CA preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead Freight Forwarding Accounting function with set objectives and governance.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for Freight Forwarding operations.
• Review significant accounting judgments, revenue recognition, accruals, and reserves.
• Establish policies, closing governance, and internal controls.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to leadership on growth, contracts, and profitability.
• Oversee contracts for accounting, reporting, and working capital implications.
• Lead executive financial reviews and communicate results to senior leadership.
