GLOVIS America Inc. is seeking a seasoned Manager, Freight Forwarding Accounting to lead monthly close, revenue recognition, and profitability reporting for our Freight Forwarding operations. You will partner with Operations to drive accurate financial results and robust internal controls.

The role requires 7–10 years in financial accounting and reporting, supervisory experience, and knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, SAP, and SOX. Based in Duluth, GA with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 7–10 years in financial accounting and reporting.
• Supervisory experience required.
• CPA/CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close for Freight Forwarding.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and postings.
• Evaluate revenue recognition, cost matching per GAAP/IFRS.
• Review monthly financial performance and variances.
• Lead balance sheet integrity and AR/AP oversight.
• Coordinate actions with Operations and other departments.
• Lead monthly financial reviews with Freight Forwarding Ops.
• Prepare and present financial reports to management.
• Support audits and process improvements.
• Develop staff and succession planning.
