Job summary

Glovis America, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manager - Freight Forwarding Accounting to review, validate, and analyze revenue and cost for Global Automotive and Global TPL Forwarding. The role leads month-end closing and prepares reports for management.

You will implement accounting systems, reconcile data with SAP, ensure US GAAP and IFRS compliance, and support management with P&L analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 7–10 years of experience in accounting/finance required.
• 8–13 years of experience in accounting/finance preferred.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience required.
• 4–7 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and analyze and confirm revenue and cost for Global Automotive and Global TPL Forwarding business.
• Review and analyze service data to verify revenue and cost recognition per US GAAP and IFRS.
• Advise GUS operations or local departments on correct revenue and cost recognition method.
• Perform data reconciliation between SAP and operating system; post revenue and cost transactions in SAP via E-doc.
• Prepare combined P&L analysis monthly, quarterly, and yearly and allocate SG&A cost by location.
