Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead enterprise project controls for a large portfolio of municipal, industrial, and federal projects. You will establish governance, analytics, and talent development to ensure safety, profitability, and predictability.

The candidate will drive design-build delivery, integrate cost/schedule/risk controls, and advance digital transformation with AI-enabled forecasting, dashboards, and standardized reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15+ years of related experience.
• PMP or PgM certification required.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, methodologies, and governance.
• Establish controls for design-build, CMAR, and integrated delivery models across regions.
• Strengthen budgeting, EVM, forecasting, and scheduling capabilities.
• Develop leading indicators, dashboards, and actionable insights for margin and risk.
• Lead modernization of project controls platforms, data, and workflows; promote automation and AI-enabled forecasting.
• Establish scalable document management, records, and data quality controls.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to improve predictability and client outcomes.
• Build and mentor a distributed team of schedulers, cost controllers, and document controllers.
