JPMorganChase in Houston seeks a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to shape enterprise resilience. You will drive design, automation, and continuous improvement of backup, recovery, and data-protection services, influence senior stakeholders, and mentor engineers across the team.

This role emphasizes cloud-native infrastructure, AWS, IaC, CI/CD, and compliance requirements. You will translate regulatory needs into production-grade solutions, deliver telemetry and operational intelligence, and lead

Competenze

Formal training or certification on site reliability engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
Demonstrated experience building distributed systems, platform services, APIs, automation frameworks, and cloud-native applications.
Expertise in site reliability engineering practices, monitoring, telemetry, incident management, and production operational readiness.
Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering domains including networking, storage, deployment practices, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
Strong knowledge of data protection, backup and recovery, cyber resilience, immutable storage, retention policies, and recovery testing.
Advanced AWS experience spanning backup services, IAM, security controls, observability, and infrastructure automation.
Proficiency in Python and at least one language such as Java, Go, or C#.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure engineering workflows.
Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation.
Ability to lead complex, cross-organizational initiatives and translate security and regulatory requirements into engineered solutions.

Apply enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation, validating outputs and handling sensitive data.
Deliver telemetry, reporting, and operational intelligence that provide real-time visibility into backup health, compliance posture, and recovery readiness.
Mentor engineers, influence senior stakeholders, and coordinate cross-team delivery with explicit ownership and dependencies.
