Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer to own production reliability across Kubernetes and AWS environments. You will drive SLOs, observability, and incident management while strengthening deployment safety and IaC practices.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end reliability initiatives, scale containerized workloads, and partner with engineering to reduce toil and improve platform resilience in a complex financial services setting.

Qualifications

5+ years of practical software engineering or SRE experience.
Strong Kubernetes and AWS production operations skills.
Proficiency with Terraform and scripting (Python/Bash/Go).
Experience with incident response, RCAs, and post-mortems.

Responsibilities

Own production reliability outcomes by managing daily health and remediation.
Define and evolve SLIs/SLOs and alerting; reduce noise.
Improve end-to-end observability with dashboards, logs, traces.
Lead incident response and RCAs; drive corrective actions.
Operate Kubernetes workloads with autoscaling and rollout/rollback.
Operate AWS components (EKS/ECS/Lambda) for scaling and reliability.
Improve release engineering and deployment safety with Spinnaker/Harness.
Build infrastructure as code with Terraform and automation.
Strengthen database and data-service reliability in collaboration with teams.
Embed security controls into operations and ensure compliance.
Lead end-to-end initiatives using enterprise AI capabilities with proper data handling.
