First Citizens Bank is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to join our CIAM and Fraud delivery team. This remote role supports multiple markets across the United States and requires leadership across distributed engineering teams, architectural guidance, and strong Java/Spring expertise.

You will design, develop, and secure APIs, implement CI/CD and DevSecOps practices, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant digital banking solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of software development experience, or high school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring, REST APIs, and modern microservices architectures.
• Strong CI/CD, DevSecOps exposure and secure coding practices.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical guidance and architectural decisions for CIAM and Fraud delivery.
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and lead distributed teams.
• Develop and oversee Java/Spring enterprise applications and RESTful APIs.
• Ensure security, compliance, and data protection across systems.
