First Citizens Bank is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to join the CIAM and Fraud delivery team. You will guide technical decisions, estimate efforts, and lead development across distributed teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions for our Commercial and Personal/Business Banking platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 4 years of software development/maintenance experience OR High School diploma/GED with 8 years of software development/maintenance experience.
• 8+ years of software development and maintenance experience, preferably in banking or regulated financial services.
• Strong design and development experience with enterprise technologies and Java ecosystem.
• Understanding of fraud prevention, risk-based authentication, and secure digital journeys.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CIAM solutions such as Okta.
• Familiarity with API testing and documentation tools (Postman, Swagger).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and support CIAM and Fraud solutions and projects within the team.
• Lead design, coding, testing, and deployment activities ensuring quality and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across IaaS, SaaS, and on‑premise environments.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices and CI/CD quality gates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate efforts and choose optimal technical solutions.
• Maintain clear documentation and foster a positive developer experience.
