First Citizens Bank is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to join the CIAM and Fraud delivery team. This remote role supports multiple markets across the United States, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining secure digital banking solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of software development experience.
Experience in banking or regulated financial services.
Strong Java and enterprise tech experience (Spring, JUnit, Hibernate, Web/JSP/Servlets).
Understanding of fraud prevention, risk-based authentication, and secure digital journeys.
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) experience.
Okta CIAM preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for CIAM and Fraud platforms.
Lead proactive maintenance of IaaS, SaaS, and on-prem apps to ensure stability and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues including code defects and data integrity problems.
Provide technical leadership on small to mid-sized projects and promote best practices.
Develop code and oversee distributed development teams to meet deadlines.
